Your trainer

I'm Scott, the guy in the awkward photo. I feel more at ease with dogs than posing for cameras. I've been working as a dog trainer for just gone 20 years, specializing in training working dogs but generally working with people and their pets.

 

My approach is practical and based on hands-on experience in various environments with different dogs. I don't get caught up in training buzzwords; I simply work with owners to communicate effectively and kindly with their dogs.

​

I handle all breeds and ages, addressing common issues like barking, jumping, chewing, leash reactivity, aggression, as well as teaching skills like recall and socialization. I'm also experienced with farm working dogs and livestock.

​

Despite the changes in the human world, our dogs remain the same. I believe in simple ways to help them, and I'm here to assist. If you're unsure, feel free to give me a call, and we can discuss it further.

I offer virtual training online via Zoom for those that can't attend an in-person session for whatever reason!
